Course Outline

Learn how to utilise hand printing and hand stamping methods at home, without the need for a press, to generate professional and dynamic prints. The workshop is focussing on purely unique prints, so be prepared to be experimental and explorative.

We will work predominately in monochrome due to the time schedule, but colour will be explored briefly.

This workshop will be fun and enable you to take a looser approach to developing prints. Treat it as a printmaking crash course to unblock any blocked printing rivers.

The course will follow a series of smaller demonstrations and projects that will give you a fuller understanding of where these techniques can go. Mary will also continually catch up individually with students to make sure ideas and motivation are flowing!
